Shadow Walker Paintball

Sometime around 1992 our boys talked their dad in to playing at the local paintball field, Quest Paintball in Victor Montana. John was a little apprehensive about playing, he thought it would be too much like war and he wanted no more of that after Viet Nam. They finally convinced him to give it a try - he had a ball! His comment was, "What an adrenalin rush! It is just like playing cowboys and Indians, but you can't say 'you missed me'." John was addicted and soon he and the boys (Johnathan - 12, Kristopher - 14, and Nathan - 16) started their own team, "Shadow Walkers." They played in several local tournaments and won a first place trophy and several others. They also went to a tournament in Idaho and tried out the Canadian Open in 1995. They even got mentioned in Action Pursuit Games (an international paintball magazine) and they did a full page photo and an article about how well Johnathan played even though he was only 12! What a kick!
