quality crafted in the U.S.A. since 1990...Americas`s Headgear. Sandana was started back in 1990 by a young man that simply wanted to keep the sweat out of his eyes and the sun off of his neck. The sun on the beaches of California could be tough to handle, so any extra protection was always a good thing. A piece of cloth was contructed long enough to cover the back of someone`s neck, ends long enough to tie around the head with a sewn in piece of terry cloth to absorb the sweat; the Sandana was born.

A new version was created with the same concept of the Original, but was constructed with a mesh back. The mesh backed version was more breathable and light weight in comparison to the Original. The newly named Pro-Line became a hit with outdoor enthusiasts.

Among the Original and Pro-Line was also the headband. Many people take this style for granted.
